Case Study Latitude Wines
PROJECT: Retail Logistics API
- API Development
The Challenge
Latitude Wines (LWI) is a premier player in the wine industry for domestic and import logistics, but didn’t have a team they could turn to in order to help with their technology challenges. The LWI executives needed help integrating the different systems they use to manage their business so they could provide better service and integrate some larger supply chain partnerships.
What We Did
Woodridge built complex integration software between different systems that we use. They did a great job, and they’ve become my go-to firm for technical matters.
Woodridge stepped in at the beginning of the project to help LWI identify requirements for the integrations. After defining the requirements, Woodridge worked with LWI’s other technology partners to design successful connections between the disparate systems. Our team built an API between LWI’s legacy order management system (OMS) and two of its biggest partners, Trader Joe’s and Hillebrand. The team also developed an API that interfaced with LWI’s U.S. Customs EDI. Finally, our developers built features that improved the inventory management and pricing functionality of the existing systems.
Results
Latitude Wines improved their relationships with customers by providing more timely and reliable data. The successful integration of the different systems allowed them to streamline their business processes and spend more time on core business activities.
