Woodridge Named a Top Small Business in Denver

The Denver Business Journal Named Woodridge Software a Finalist for the 2020 Small Business Awards

Woodridge is proud to announce that we have been named a Top Small Business by the Denver Business Journal. We qualified in the Large category (representing businesses with 31-50 employees) alongside TouchSource, Vertix Builders, LRE Water and MOA Architecture. We’re proud to be among the many small businesses that make up such a large part of Colorado’s $362 billion economy.

This year’s Small Business Awards fall during an unprecedented time and every single business was affected differently. DBJ profiled all of the finalists on how they’re facing the Covid-19 crisis. We’re fortunate that most of the work that we do is done for our clients remotely (via a combination of Zoom and Slack) and our team can be just as productive at home as they are in the office. Our team was able to transition to a 100% remote operation over the course of a weekend, and are still remote as of June. We’ve also experienced an increase in business since the start of the pandemic. We are helping retail bank improve their online banking platforms and create online PPP application forms to help small business receive the funds they need to continue operating and paying their employees. As a result of the increased workload, we’ve had the opportunity to hire a number of talented people and increase the number of developer offers we were planning to extend to recent college graduates from the Colorado School of Mines.
